FAQ

What is glasswalking?

Glass walking is the experience of dropping fully into presence and walking slowly, mindfully, and intuitively across shards of broken glass.

Where are you located?
The Glasswalk Experience is based in the Joshua Tree area of southern California, but we bring the glasswalk to your event, including most Airbnbs. Travel fees are based on mileage distance from the Joshua Tree area.
How long is a glasswalking experience?
The Glasswalk Experience is customized to your event as a 1.5 – 2 hour workshop & ceremony. Each participant has the opportunity to walk the glass once.
What if I decide I don't want to walk?
Consent and autonomy are at the heart of every ceremony—participants are invited, never pressured, and may opt out at any time. Many still receive benefits through participation in the workshop portion & witnessing the breaking of outdated beliefs.
What kind of benefits can I expect from walking the glass?
The glasswalk is a meditative & empowering experience through which many participants come away with personal breakthroughs, such as releasing old self-limiting beliefs or fears. Participants often walk away feeling, “I walked on broken glass! What other illusions might we now shatter as humans?”
Can the glass walk be done outdoors?
The Glasswalk can be done outdoors only under the circumstances of good weather and having a large flat platform area so that the glasswalk & the walkers’ feet remain uncontaminated by dirt, sand, or grasses.
What is an arrow break?
The arrow break is an empowerment exercise in presence, in which the point of a wooden arrow is held against the throat and snapped through forward movement. As with glasswalking, the arrow break symbolizes breaking through personal barriers, fear, and self-limiting beliefs.
